One of Joe Banana's driver we'll meet you at port of Sorento, he'll stand right in front of the gang way of your cruise ship with a sign and your name on it.

Then we'll drive by Sorrento Coast where we can have a couple stops to get beautiful picture. Right after 1 ½ hour we'll get to Naples,in Italian Napoli.

"Napoli" is a city with many different colors and many different characters, renowned for the openness (and loudness!) of its people who say "see Naples and then die". Naples is situated in the bay of Naples with Mount Vesuvius as the backdrop to a rather amazing city.

However, it is a city that should be toured with care, go WITHOUT wearing any jewelry, and ladies should not carry handbags. Money should be kept in front pockets rather than wallets or purses. Our advice is to leave all valuables at your hotel.

On a lighter note, there are many wonderful places to visit like the museum of National Archaeology, the cloister of Santa Chiara, the shopping mall "Galleria Umberto", the theatre of San Carlo, the vacant Royal Palace of the former Royal family that rests in Piazza Plebiscito and the Piazza Municipio where the castle of Maschio Angioino is located.

After Naples we'll drive to Herculaneum, an ancient residential town of Greek origins, and has also become an important stop for those tourists wishing to steep themselves in history.

Destroyed and buried in ashes, together with Pompeii, by the eruption of the volcano Vesuvius in 79 A.D. Herculaneum also offers a variety of beautiful scenery and invaluable arts. Strangley, excavations began by accident in 1709 when some workers were digging a well - they discovered a wall, obiously old and out of site for hundreds of years, which was later found to be one of the stages of the ancient theatre. Later, there were many human skeletons uncovered at the ancient shoreline, suggesting that numerous inhabitants attempted to escape by sea, but perished when mountains collapsed into rivers of lava and volcanic gases were released.

After this beautiful archeological stop we drive back to Sorrento where you can walk around for an hour more or less and then back to board the ship .
